It's a little nippy outside today

Just when you think you've got it made, another sleepless night creeps up on you...

Hate those nights...

I didn't want to take my sleeping pill because Boo was spending the night and I wanted to be able to hear her if she woke up.

So of course I dozed for ten minutes around about midnight, and tossed and turned, and went pee about ten times. At four thirty I had had enough and I got up. Made coffee, got the paper, watched the early news.
At 5 I crawled back in bed and slept until Boo woke up at seven. She always wakes up in stages. First you hear her stretch and mumble, then she starts to 'read' her book...

Ooooooo OO!!....buh buh buh BBBBBBB!!.............kuh kuh kuh KKKKKK!!!!......

At seven thirty she got loud, so I hauled my sorry butt out of bed.
As soon as I walked in her room it was : Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy to see me, eager to be picked up and taken out of bed. I changed her diaper, gave her some milk and got Wheelie up.

She had fun standing in front of the shower door and watch Opa take his shower, she got bored rather fast though, as a large black cricket was discovered on the floor who kept her attention for a while.

I got everyone some breakfast and she and I got dressed. I tried to get to my email, but I guess that will have to wait. :>)

We made the bed, we did the dishes, we watched Curious George.

We put on our walking shoes and went for a walk around the neighborhood. She did the entire 1/2 mile circle, checking out every spot on the road, picking up every pebble on the path to the mail box, had to touch every tree and blade of grass....said hello to everyone walking by.
She was like the little Energizer Bunny, she kept on trucking with those little Nikes on...

The exersize had the expected effect, huray! When we got back home it was 10:15 and I put her to bed for a nap with some juice.

The weather has really changed. It's only about 70 ° out there, overcast, windy.

Perfect timing, as I needed to do some bill paying and chekbook balancing. I do my banking online, which is extremely handy, I just love the convenience. And I really don't ever have to balance my checkbook anymore, hehe...

The only downside is that I discovered I only have about $29 in the bank until next Wednesday. UFDA!

That's what you get when you run around buying shoes....at least I have gas in the tank ($4.10 a gallon yesterday) and I don't need anything right now...

Living paycheck to paycheck it rather pathetic, you'd think we'd get used to it after 27 years...:>)

SGMKJ!
