It's getting a bit nippy at night. We sleep with the window open, and this morning I felt downright frosty! This morning I changed to Flannel sheets!
This, and springtime, are the best times of the year for me personally. I love the temperatures.
Even thought the season changes aren't huge, like the way they are, say, in Minnesota....:>)
The changes, however subtle, are noticeable.
The trees are turning, you need long sleeves early in the morning, and you can even sit out on the patio without it having to be shady.
I am trying to remember what yesterday was like.....must have been a decent day, cause I don't remember. *lol*
All kidding aside. Yesterday was a pleasant day. Bugs is holding her own with the new pain killers. She had another open-to-close day yesterday, as her other manager called in sick with strep.
She is tired, of course, but this morning she had an improved attitude.
I took Boo for her morning stroll, something which is perfect to tire her down for her mid day nap. She runs and chatters, trips and falls, tries to eat concrete and pebbles, talked with Buddy, the dog, and checked the mail.
Right now she has been down for an hour. I am hoping for another one.
Looking forward to two days off. Tomorrow I plan to list Bugs' Merry Mushroom stuff. I have 4 large totes full of used baby clothes to go through, some of which I will list as well.
We don't know how Bugs will want to work things Monday morning. Her test is at 8am. I'll try and keep my mouth shut and let her come up with a plan of action.
Wheelie and I watched the Presidential debate yesterday. I wish that Obama would stop saying McCain is RIGHT about certain things. He should say: he AGREES with McCain. Makes it sound much better. (makes note to self to email the guy)
I found McCain's body language very telling. He obviously dislikes Obama as a person. He practically rolled his eyes a few times, while Obama was trying to stand tall and be graceful and stick to answering the questions, without patronizing the other party.
YouTube has a pretty fair amount of funny videos about Sarah Palin.
The interview with Katie Couric was priceless. Setting aside my dislike of this girl as a person, just listening to her talk; answer questions, I have to wonder how McCain picked this one.
This is NOT a person who is in the same league as other women politicians. Not at all!!!
Put her next to Hilary Clinton, Condalisa Rice, Madeline Albright, Angela Merkel, Golda Meir, Margaret Thatcher, Indira Ghandi, ......
I think the common sense ones among you will understand what I am saying here.
This Republican ticket is wrong. I could go with John McCain if I HAD to...but this whipper snapper from Alaska is WAY out of her league...
WAY out....
Paul Newman died today. 83 Years old. A legend.
