I drove by the townhouse Bugs has her eyes set on. She's filled out an application and the guy is supposed to check her credit and call her back today. $700 a month! Amazing!
It's a nice enough place, a nicely kept and quiet little neighborhood. Although there is a rather major highway behind her. The townhouse is very clean and newly carpeted and painted. From what I can see peeking in the window the living room+dining room and kitchen are tiny. There is also a toilet downstairs. Upstairs are two bedrooms with two bathrooms. The stairs are carpeted and take a turn at the top, which might be a problem getting her king sized mattress through.
In any event. It looks like a nice place, has a small fenced in back yard. No, she is not taking the dog or the cats. It would just cost her more of a deposit.
She called Daddy's mom yesterday. And yes, Daddy is in county lockup. His parents are not in a position (or willing) to bail him out this time, and his friends probably won't be able either, so he's stuck. Perhaps it's for the best, perhaps he can get 'clean' now. As for getting his license back...EVER...I doubt it....
What a waste...
In other news...Boo is taking her nap. She has been extremely agitated the past few days according to Bugs. Well, I wonder WHY?
The poor baby feels something is going on, she feels the tension.
She came here all full of p and v this morning, didn't want to be held, didn't' want to eat. But Oma put her in her high chair with a plate of pieces of cheese and ham, some crackers and grapes, and some yogurt drink and left her alone. She gobbled down everything.
Then I put her down in her crib, and after fussing for about 15 minutes she fell asleep.
This poor child needs a rest, dammit.
I ran around doing some errands this morning and got my hair cut. It was getting that awful length where you can't do anything with it and it being gray to boot, it just makes me look and feel like crap...
So with my newly mowed head and baby fed and asleep, life is looking a bit perkier.
SGMKJ!

Well done..the sun is shining all around. Time seems to be the common element in all our lifes. The more we try to speed things up the more it gets on top off us all. Do you ever hear anything from your other Dutch cousins? Iggie
YEAH ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
The end cap is always nicer because you only have neighbors on one side of you. I have an end cap and love it because I can have a bit of a garden -- moreso than others in the row. The only regret I have is that I don't have a carport or garage, but I sure like my low gas and electricity bills. I also have two bay windows! I hope she gets it so that you can maintain your privacy and she can lower her costs of living and afford childcare. Ahhhh I hear those arthritic bones doing the "happy dance" already!
