The move went pretty well.
(considering)
After the movers delivered the BIG stuff, Bugs, PH and a friend of his, went back and forth a few times to get the small stuff.
They did not get everything yet, as dummy had the electricity disconnected (as opposed to overlapping the service for a few days) so they could not work in the dark.
When I dropped a very tired and cranky Boo off last night around six, Bugs and her best friend Cam were proud to present me with an almost unpacked house. At least the living room and the kitchen were done, the beds were made, the baby's room was pretty much ready.
I was ever so grateful that Cam came to help. She has such a good eye for decorating, and she is also a neat freak, and she knows how to put a kitchen in order.
Wheelie and I went to bed around nine. I got up at six and cleaned my kitchen, when Wheelie got up at seven I raced the vacuum cleaner through the house.
Basically we're back on regular schedule. Bugs went back to work, Boo came here.
She and I went for another shopping trip at Super Target, after which she took a decent nap.
It's now 5:30 and she is in bed again, she was just freaking out a little. She ate her whole dinner and an ice cream cone, but I can tell she is tired.
No wonder, poor baby picks up on the shit vibes, and she has been off her routine for over a week.
I woke up with sun poisoning. Last night I thought I was having a reaction to a new kind of Oil of Olay moisturizer. But when I woke up I recognized it. Eyes puffy and closed shut, cheeks feeling hot and looking and feeling like grapefruit skin, puffy chipmunk cheeks.
Probably happened when I walked Boo around the hospital a hundred times the other day. It was a nice day, sunny and windy. It has happened before, it'll go away in a few days.
So things are quieting down.
Oh I know Bugs is not out of the woods yet! She received a letter from her mortgage company that she has until October 14 to pay up, or else...so at least we still have a few weeks to get everything out and clean up. She won't be able to vacuum, but I told her a few brooms would do just fine.
She is anxious to hear the test results from her doctor, her appointment is Thursday morning.
She also got a call from Nana, and aparently they are not in a position to help her with anything. So much for wanting to help. Well, I think I'll sort of wean the Saturday visits for a while too.
Daddy never showed up with the money. He is three months behind. Bugs sure could use the extra cash (to pay us back, haha)
She is tired. Well, so am I, so is Boo...it'll pass...
The house looks cute, teeny kitchen, small rooms, but very cute. Perfect for 1 1/2 humans.
We got a reply to my ad in the local news paper website for the dog, hopefully that will work out.
And so it goes...........
If this drama is starting to bore y'all, tough titties! :>)
I am primarily writing it for myself, just to vent and keep my sanity.
