Sears Merry Mushroom stuff

Bugs has been packing.

I KNOW!! I SAW it!! :>)

I went by her house this morning! She's goeten everything off the walls, and things look to be moving along.

A few years ago, when she was still living with her best GA friend, Cam, she started collecting those darn "vintage" Sears Merry Mushroom kitchen things.
I was delighted to have found something I could give her, when a gift was needed like birthdays and Christmas. So I found a bunch of that stuff on eBay.

Now that she is down sizing, and I suppose her taste has changed a tad as well, she wondered if I would put it all back on eBay and sell it back again.

So I hauled four boxes of the stuff back home. Just finished washing all the pieces and now, while it's all drying, I am needing to find a place to put it all, until I get the chance to make the pictures, list it, etc.

There is a small chance she will be able to move into an apartment, or a town home. She ran into a girl she knew, who now is a leasing agent for one of the apartment complexes we looked at a few weeks ago. She was told they were running a "special" $699 for a two bedroom apartment for a 6 month lease, or a 12 month lease, after that the rent would be $799. Not bad at all. Not for a brand new place.

I (carefully) suggested she might look into these, and she might just be able to move right in, thus avoiding moving in with us, and storing everything and having to move twice.

I saw the little windmills of her mind running in her head as I made the suggestion, and low and behold, she called me a little while ago and is going to see the apartments, and has an appointment to see the townhouse at 5.

She has the week off next week, so this is perfect timing. We are going to have cramps from keeping our fingers crossed all week.

ARghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Just got off the phone with Bugs. Daddy wants to see Boo. So she asked him flat out: are you doing meth again? His answer: I'm doing something ten times worse.

(brilliant!)


She refused to let him see her, not until he's clean again and until she sees her money.

He said he would take her to court. *LOLOL*
